The Auberge du Noyer

The proprietors Shaun and Steve are the best hosts ever. Nothing is too much. We are a family of veggies and vegans, we all had a great selection of dishes to choose from. I’m the vegan and I was actually given 5 meal choices!! Lovely staff, lovely ambiance and generally a very nice place to dine out.

Very friendly welcome. Busy but not rushed. Courteous and efficient service throughout the luncheon. A limited menu had been chosen in advance and each of three courses was very well prepared, well presented and well served. Attentive staff and the restaurant was clean and attractive. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble to the proprietors. Thoroughly good value and the ambiance, in warm surroundings, was a delight.

Pris le 14 février 3 souris d’agneau et 1 rosbeef. Plats équilibrés (féculents et légumes). Les viandes délicieuses, cuites comme nous aimons et très copieux. Bravo au cuisinier et merci pour l’accueil. Les tarifs sont très corrects. Nous recommandons sans aucun problème.

Absolutely fell in love with this place, lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor and welcoming hosts. Booked for 1 night but stayed for 2, great value for money. Will be back as soon as we are moved. Thank you!

Just wanted to say a massive thanks, we picked up our take away order for 6 on Saturday evening and it was great – ready on time, piping hot, well wrapped/packaged and with those thoughtful extras (curry sauce, peas) – everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, good value for money and happy to be able to support Shaun and Steve during this difficult time for their lovely business.

The accommodation is very good and very comfortable. The food is very good, plentiful and worth every penny. Good selection of drinks in the bar. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and helpful as were the owners Shaun and Steve. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay a good one.

I would recommend this place, both for somewhere to stay or somewhere to enjoy a nice meal or drink in a friendly atmosphere.

We had a lovely stay with our two little lads. Steve and Shaun are great, very welcoming, amazing breakfast, lovely large clean room. The food was fab, will definitely return. Thanks for having us!

Auberge du Noyer was recommended to us…glad we decided to try it out! We went there several times during our holiday and we were never disappointed. Great menu, food was lovely and the hospitality was second to none. Thank you Shaun, Steve and all the other staff who looked after us so well. Can’t wait to go back…! X

We were recommended to this place and we were certainly not disappointed, great warm welcome and lovely contemporary clean surroundings. The evening just got better from there, the food was first class, with excellent service, I would class myself as a pie connoisseur and would rate the steak, ale and stilton pie a 10 out of 10, it was amazing and piping hot. The bar area is a real home from home, the owners are so friendly and I would now highly recommend this place too and will certainly return myself.
